We have discussed the beloved characters of Hannah Montana enough already. Now I want to bring your attention to some of the episodes that made a deeper impact on me.

There was an episode on the show where while performing on the stage Hannah feels discomfort while singing. After medical evaluation she has been told to get rest inverter to preserve her voice. In the real life Miley spirals thinking that she would lose her voice, singing ability, her career, and hence her identity. Throughout the episode Miley continuous to over think and come up with possibilities worse than their predecessor. She feels that her world would end if she loses her voice.

This episode felt very relatable to me. The question of "who am I" always bothers me. Even today I struggle to answer the question about myself and I still cannot point out who I am. Sometimes I feel that the skills and talents I process give me a unique identity. Without them I am nothing. These are they aspects that make me stand out from the rest of the crowd. I always have this fear that what if I lose my talents or my skills? Who would I be if I did not have the talents or the skills? What would be my unique Identity if one day I lose my skills? Would I be useful if one day I lose my talents? This questions always bother me.

There was one time in my life where I faced this fear of identity crisis. When I was switching my job from my domain to a completely different domain I faced this fear. I was worried that this was the time when I would give up on my talents and skills and I would be reduced into nothing. In such situations I found that episode on Hannah Montana to be relatable. I kept thinking and over thinking of what my future would be without my identity. I was feeling that I would disappear into the oblivion without my identity.

But then I realised something. Despite anything happens the people who love me would still be around. They would be with me because they love who I am and not for the talents I possess. If I am surrounded by the people who love me then there is nothing that I could lose. Because it is ultimately the people who love me and the people I love who make my world complete. I would still stay relevant for the people who love me. Even if I am devoid of my skills the people who love me would continue to love me.

I believe this entire experience of losing the identity and still believing that the loved ones would still stand by our side made me stronger. This is when I could relate myself to Miley in that episode. This was when I realised that the strength is with the people I love. Our strength does not lie with the skills that would build the world but the skills that would build a community with love.

If you lost your talents and skills, would your loved ones still
