I know how it feels. Shaadi is the only topic of discussion when a woman is in her 20s. According to the society we waste time, money, and oxygen if we are unmarried. This mentality is responsible for destroying lives of women.

True this mentality is deeply rooted in our society

I have seen and experienced it. Society believes that the ultimate goal of a young person is getting married. How that could be an achievement? I have often heard people saying that "someone is not settled" because they are unmarried. But what about them having a great career and enjoying their life on their terms? Nope, society makes every attempt to demerit an unmarried person.
