This made me smile. I sometimes wonder how much simpler life would feel if I looked at the world the way a dog does,getting excited to see the same people every day, finding joy in small things, and loving without keeping score.
This makes me so sad to read. They protect us from outsiders and sometimes all we do in gratitude is to thrown them stones instead of providing them food and shelter
