Waiting for the Weather to Get the Memo 😭

Is it just me, or does it feel like the weather has completely forgotten that we're supposed to be entering the colder months? 😭 We're almost at the end of October, and I'm still waiting for that proper winter feeling to arrive. Where are the chilly mornings, the cold breeze, the cozy blankets, and the excuse to sit with a hot cup of chai without sweating five minutes later? 😂
Every year, there's something so comforting about the thought of winter approaching. You start imagining foggy mornings, wearing your favourite sweaters, sitting under
warm blanket, and enjoying those peaceful evenings when the air actually feels cold. Even ordinary things somehow become more enjoyable when the weather changes.
But this year, October seems to be doing its own thing. The calendar says autumn, but stepping outside feels like summer hasn't received the news yet. The sun is still working overtime, and and the winter clothes are sitting in the cupboard, waiting for their moment to shine. Honestly, I think my sweaters are getting tired of being ignored. 😭
And can we talk about how unpredictable the weather has become? One moment, you feel like the season might finally be changing, and the next day, you're back to searching for a fan. You start planning cute winter outfits, only to realise that wearing them outside would probably be a terrible idea. At this point, even checking the weather forecast feels feels like an emotional investment. 😂
I'm not even asking for extreme cold. Just give us that pleasant weather where opening a window brings in a cool breeze instead of warm air. Let
the mornings feel a little chilly, let the evenings be cozy, and let us finally enjoy our chai without turning it into a survival challenge. Is that really too much to ask?
Maybe it's the little things that make winter special. The feeling of cold hands around a warm cup, the comfort of a blanket on a lazy evening, the way the sky looks on a foggy morning, and those random moments when you don't feel like rushing anywhere because the weather makes staying indoors feel perfect.
Of course, not everyone enjoys the cold, and I understand that. Some people are already preparing to complain about freezing mornings while the rest of us are still waiting for winter to show up. But honestly, I'd
rather have a little chill in the air than feel like October is secretly July in disguise. 😭
Maybe the weather is taking its sweet time, or maybe we've simply become too impatient for the seasons we love. Either way, I'm officially ready for a change.
