What if the most jubilant person you know is just a phenomenal actor? That sounds ridiculous and ludicrous, right? Well, bear with me. For me, think of the funniest friend in your friend group, he/she might be the goofiest and the coolest person of the group but they might be hiding their agonising despondency under their euphoric laughter.
They’re always the ones ready to provide a comfortable cushion to others while trying to pass nights on the bed of endless needles in form of catastrophes. The person might look like absolutely auspicious and elated with his life because of their external presence but deep inside they carry an invisible burden of making everybody laugh and smile.
They wake up every morning with the motive of wearing the same exhilarating mask which in real sense is excruciating just to make everybody smile like it’s a theatre performance.
Think of a cracked vase that still carries flowers, think of a broken window that still allows sunlight to pass through, or think of the moon that looks so splendid but has so many scars.
But what is the way out? The only way out is that whenever you meet such a person, be philanthropic enough to ask them how they’re doing because a lighthouse spends its life guiding lost ships while enduring every storm alone.
