Learning to love myself
Learning to love myself has been one of the quietest yet most transformative journeys of my life. It wasn’t about suddenly becoming confident or never doubting myself again,it was about choosing kindness over criticism, patience over perfection, and acceptance over comparison.I learned that my worth isn’t measured by achievements, appearances, or the approval of others, but by the simple fact that I exist and deserve compassion.
Every mistake became a lesson instead of a verdict, every scar a reminder that I had survived what once tried to break me. Slowly, I began celebrating my growth instead of mourning my imperfections, setting boundaries without guilt, and giving myself the same understanding I so freely offered to everyone else. Loving myself didn’t make life flawless, but it made me stronger, gentler, and more at peace. It taught me that the longest relationship I will ever have is the one with myself, and that relationship deserves honesty, forgiveness, and unconditional love.Every day, I choose to become my own safe place, knowing that true happiness begins not when the world accepts me, but when I finally learn to accept myself.
Today, I understand that self-love is not a destination but a lifelong practice. It is choosing to speak to myself with compassion, honoring my dreams without fearing failure, and remembering that my value has never depended on how productive, successful, or perfect I appear.
The greatest love I have ever found was not waiting for me in someone else’s heart,it was patiently waiting within my own.

One of the things I follow and the thing that I encourage others to follow is that your happiness and sadness should come mainly from you and not the surrounding people. you have to learn how to be happy alone and that being alone is not at all bad. You just need to enjoy yourself
The line about mistakes becoming lessons instead of verdicts is something everyone needs to be assured of in their lives.
