Chapter 5: Change The Lens

For years I wore the wrong glasses.
Everything looked hard.
Everything looked late.
Everyone looked ahead of me.
My mindset was: "If it’s not perfect, don’t start."
"If I fail, people will laugh."
"If I’m not the best, what’s the point?"
Chapter five taught me: It’s not life that’s heavy. It’s the lens I’m seeing it through.
So I changed the lens. Slowly.
Instead of "I don’t have time", I asked "What can I do in 10 minutes?"
Instead of "I’m behind", I said "I’m on my own timeline."
Instead of "This is hard", I tried "This is practice."
Mindset is not about pretending everything is good.
It’s about choosing what you focus on.
Bad day? Look for one lesson.
No motivation? Look for one small step.
Feeling stuck? Look for what you can control today not yesterday or tomorrow.
The world didn’t change overnight.
But my questions did.
And new questions create new answers.
And new answers create new actions.
And new actions create a new me.
I stopped waiting to "feel ready".
I started collecting proof that I’m capable, one 1% day at a time.
Because when you change how you see things........
the things you see start to change.
