You don’t step into the same river twice !
“I hate accidents and confusions” ,the third chapter of the movie “Favorite” resonate with me .Accidents and confusions flip life upside down in an instant ,and the impact is overwhelming .So is life’s unimaginably painful experiences, the patterns we learned along the way ,to hide us in a safe place ,and who we had to become to survive. It is true that it takes a deep blow on the head or an accident so powerful (in a philosophical sense )to realize the pit we were in all this time .And once that happens to you ,you take all your energy ,learn to pick yourself up and climb up from the pit ,climb up to light from darkness .You meet yourself at the end of the pit .But different, evolved, you can see truth in your eyes .It’s true that you don’t step into the same river twice ,for the river has flowed in different places and seen umany things .And that itself is the whole point !
Beautifully expressed. Growth is rarely comfortable, but the person we become after life’s hardest moments often understands both pain and hope more deeply than before.
each experience is a life lesson. it could be a confusion or an accident, but still it will teach us something and that is more important.
