Work

I recently joined a corporate company as a an SME.

I completed my masters recently this year and was decided on taking a break.

In the past fuve years I have, completed my high school, joined bachelor’s, completed bachelor’s, joined master’s, and completed master’s.

I had no break.

No gap year.

No respite.

On top of that, My degree was extremely exhausting.

And since I did master’s in a city that is filled with my relatives, I had so much more to stress over.

Each time I went out.

Each time I had a family function to attend.

Family politics exhausted me completely.

Thank Gid for my parents who were supportive.

But now, I wanted to rest for a while.

My sister suggested I take a gap year, because I desperately needed one.

But guven the person I am,

I cant sit idly.

So i joined this company.

Ans honestly, despite the warly hours of the shift. Despite the ridiculous daily targets, I am still glad that I have something to look forward to as I wake up!

A really relatable thought—sometimes a break doesn’t necessarily mean doing nothing; it means choosing something that feels lighter than the pressure you’ve been carrying. Glad you found something that gives your mornings a sense of purpose while still allowing you to move at your own pace. ❤️

Honestly, this feels so real. After constantly moving from one degree to another without taking a proper break, finally slowing down must feel different. Sometimes we really do need to pause and appreciate how far we’ve come before jumping into the next chapter. Wishing you the best for this new phase! 🤍✨
