Every person in the world knew exactly when they are going to die. Not how. Not where. Only the date. It appears on the wrist the moment they are born.

For centuries humans adapted. Banks offered loans that ended the day before you died. Schools adjusted education based on how much time that child have. People with only a few years become celebrity inspiring millions to live more freely.

Those with decades ahead often procrastinated beleiving they have endless time. Then one day, A boy named Orion turned eighteen. His wrist was blank. Doctors were baffled. Scientists ran every test imaginable. Nothing. No date. No explanations. The World just explored with theories. Some called him immortal. Some called him a curse. Religious leaders declared him a sign. Government wanted to study him.

For the first time in history the humanity has encountered someone whose ending was unwritten. As Orion grew older, stranger things started to happen around him. People whose death dates has been fixed started surviving impossible accidents. A women destinated to die in an accident walked away without scratch. A child with only two days left recovered from terminal illness overnight. An old man who was supposed to die peacefully in his sleep simply woke up.

One by one the glowing dates in people's wrist started to disappear. Panic spread across the world. For generations the certainity has shaped the society. Now that certainity was gone. The people become afraid. Bussiness collapsed. Governments declared emergency. Others became reckless convinced that death note longer exists.

Humanity have forgotten how to live without countdown. Determined to find answers, Orion followed ancient clues hidden in a forgotten temples and abandaned observations and libraries older than the civilization itself.

He saw a door in his dream that he believed has all the answers. When he said that to the officials no one believed him. This he went alone to explore. At the endgeyof the world beneath a mountain carved with stars he discovered an enormous stone door that he saw in his dream. He opened it.

Behind it sat a women weaving glowing threads into an endless tapestry. Each thread carried a human life. Some were ling. Some were short. Some ended suddenly. "You have been expecting me", Orion said. "Yes. I have been expecting everyone" she said without looking up. " Who are you?", he asked.

"I am the weaver. For thousands of years Humanity bedded to know its future."

"So you have them death dates?"

"I gave them certainity. Because they beleived that certainty would free them. But it imprisoned them instead."

She finally looked into his every when telling the last line. Orion thought about the world outside.

People choosing career based on how much time they have left. People delaying love and dreams and forgiveness. Always beleiving that they will have a Tommorow or fearing that they wouldn't.

"They stopped living. They started scheduleing life." She nodded. "Why am I different?"

"Because someone have to choose."

"Choose what?"

"Whether humanity deserves certainity or possiblity"

He looked at the tapestry stretching beyond imagination. Billions of glowing threads and billions of lives. He cut the thread without hesitation. And then the tapestry erupted in life. A beam of light was the last thing he saw and then he was lying in his bed in the next morning.

The people had their wristed empty of dates but then people stared to confess their live without waiting. Families reunited and artists stopped postponing the masterpiece. Humanity has lost the knowledge of when life would end.
