Update

So long back I wrote here telling you guys that I had a crush on a guy who did not even know i existed.

Yes, no overstatement.

I found his insta gram account followed him and instantly became charmed by his humour and sense of sarcasm. add to that he is so so pretty too.

After a while, he followed me back.

yes you csn imagine what a giddy moment it must have been for me.

after this he started liking some of my posts stories and stuff, so i liked one of his stories as well (not just for the sake of doing it, it was actually funny)

cut to yesterday, I put up an instagram note, that was basically a funny idea about watching a particular politician’s drafted reels.

At most I was expecting a like.

and when he did not like for a few hours (12 whole hours) I decided it wasn’t funny enough for him.

ps: I still knew it was funny because a lot of people liked this note.

Anyways, i thought to myself and consoled as such, that maybe he just doesn’t understand what i wrote 😭

I went for my afternoon nap and had to wale up to my aunts visiting my house.

I woke up and saw his text replied to my note “I will talk to zuckerberg, see if he can help with this”

and the internal scream i screamed was so louf my organs got a little scared.

but before i could reply, i saw my aunts were here already,

Call me stupid but i did not want to reply absent mindedly and make myself look like a fool.

After 5 hours of his text, i finally got time to respond.

I texted “Lmk so i can withdraw application for his social media manager”

i crafted this after thinking aLOT

Aand that is what my friend pointed to me too.

She said this was too much thought out.

But i refused to give in to my overthinking self and just let it be.

after about 20 minutes or so, he saw the text.

I waited

and waited

but he did not reply,

did not even like the reply

just straight up seen zoned me.

I was a little disappointed

i told my friend and she said it was ok, that that is how it is, you don’t do so much in a first conversation

but i still think i swinged and missed.

Do you guys have any advice?
