The Weird Distance

I don’t think we had a big falling out. Nothing dramatic happened. We just slowly stopped talking the way we used to.

The replies got shorter. The conversations got less frequent. And somehow, we became two people who know so much about each other but barely know what’s happening in each other’s lives anymore.

The weirdest part? I still think about telling you things.

Some people don’t leave with a goodbye. They just become a memory while they’re still alive in your contacts.
