The Walk That Turned Into a Nightmare

This is a real story about a horrific incident happened with me and my friend.

It was back in the time when i was in school, me and my best friend we used to go to school together and after school we used to go to our tution in the evening together. Usually our classes started around 5 in the evening to 07:00pm everyday.

So Just like any other day me and my friend jasmine were going to our tution classes around 4:30pm because it was 2miles away from our place, so we headed towards the classes and it was a pleasent day. I remember it was summer but that day was chill and windy, we reached at classes and everything was as usual by now, we had a test that day so our time extended 30minutes extra that day. We completed the test and walked out of the class me and jasmine decided to take taxi to our places but in the middle the way she asked me to hangout and eat something and then get back to home. I was also feeling appetite so i noded and we decide to go to street food place while we were having this conversation there was a weird creepy guy standing and some distance but we ignored and took Rikshaw to the place. He dropped us at main road as the street food place has some walking distance and vehicles are not allowed in the area because of the less space and crowd so we stared walking towards the shop where often used to eat, but that day was less crowded and also because it was late there very quite few people we saw and when we were walking down we were discussing about our tests and ongoing events at our school. We reached the place and there were few people before us were ordering food so we waited and talking to each other then suddenly i notcied that same guy was there we saw before leaving the Tution.

When the light reflected on his face he was looking very creepy as if he hasn’t took bath for days and his teeth were crooked and dirty he was wearing a pant that was cut below his knee and a shirt that has many holes in the centre and over that a grey jacket and he was talking to himself i told my jasmine he’s the same guy and she told me did he followed us and we laughed as we were just joking but what we didn’t realised was actually gonna hit us soon so we ignored him and gave our order and we got it we ate noodles and cold drink then we payed and started to walk back to the main road for taking Rikshaw to our home .

We started the walk and we noticed that same guy is walking after us and talking out loud something we couldn’t understand i told jasmine to take big steps and not be scared but while telling her to stay calm i was scared too. We started taking long steps and so did he and he was getting louder and saying something . My heart started to race so fast i was so scared that i thought if we stopped something bad is going to happen to us. While all this was going in my head i told Jasmine to run to the nearby Dry Cleaning Shop that we could see and ask for help. We ran to the shop and i was so pale because of the fear i told everything to people working at that shop

But they did nothing they didnt even say anything just looked at us and continued to do their work me and jasmine knew there is no help coming for us. i stood at the door and looked up for that guy he was standing on the other side of the road searching for something and scratching his head, though i was so scared but i still told Jasmine to run to the main door on count of Three. She understood what our next step is ,So I counted One,Two,Three…RUN!! and we both ran with all our strength we didn’t stop even for a second and we reached at the main door and i looked back he was gone I couldn’t see him anymore Me and Jasmine got a relief.We found a Rikshaw and went back to our home. It been years now since that incident happend and i still think what if he caught us on that day and what if we couldn’t made it to the main road the thought of it still haunts me. After that incident me and my friend we never went back to the same place ever again
