This was such a fun little twist 😭 The buildup made me genuinely expect something serious, and then finding out the blood-curdling scream was because of a lizard was perfect. I also really liked how the story showed genuine neighbourly concern without making it overly dramatic—sometimes caring enough to simply check on someone means a lot. 🦎😂
