The quite rooms we built
There is a distinct kind of silence that settles in when you choose to disconnect from the noise of the world. Few months back my life was contained in a small room and its four walls or maybe it was a self imposed exile. The world outside kept moving but mine slowed down to the rhythm of scratching pens and turning pages.
But you see, social media has a strange cruel way of making everyone else’s life look happy and perfect. You scroll for a second and you see milestones achieved while you are on the same chair since years anticipating the future and accepting past failures. It is easy to feel invisible then. Everyday it hits me in the evening, troubles me for a while but the cup of tea cools down my nerves and I again feel a grounding comfort in this solitude. The world keeps spinning and here, the work continues until next time thoughts rush in.
Everytime felt this but didn’t have courage enough to explain
This felt very real. It’s strange how solitude can make us question ourselves, yet also become the place where we quietly grow, one ordinary day at a time.
This resonated deeply. Solitude can feel isolating, yet it often becomes the place where quiet growth happens, even when the world makes us question it.
