The quiet progress

Nowadays, I have been noticing small wins that no one has really seen or celebrate. These are the tiny achievement that happened quietly in everyday life. No one claps or send messages about them, but they still feel meaningful to me. Today I finished reading a few chapters of a book, I have been putting off for weeks.. It was nothing big to other, but I felt quietly proud or when I finally organise my messy notes from work. It was just a small task yet it made the rest of my day feel smoother and less stressful.

Well, I’m learning to accept these quiet moments of progress more. In the past, I used to wait only for big success before feeling a good about myself. Things like huge goals or very visible results. But real growth is often invisible to everyone else. It happens in small Steps that only I noticed. Finishing a small but meaningful task, sticking to a new habit for one extra day or handling a difficult situation with more calm. I think these things quietly add up more time.

Sometime it feels like no one is watching or cheering for these efforts that used to bother me a lot. Now I’m trying to cheer for myself in small ways. I remind myself that these quiet wins are building something important inside me. They are the real proof that I am moving forward, even when it does not look impressive from the outside. This new ways of thinking is helping me stay motivated on normal regular days. I don’t need anything to be huge or exciting all the time. Small progress is real progress.. I am slowly becoming kinder to myself by noticing valuing these little achievements.

Growth does not always look loud or exciting to other people. Most of the time it’s quiet and very personal, and I’m learning that this is perfectly fine. I want to keep celebrating my own small wins because they truly matter to my own journey. Well, I was not always like that. I used to doubt myself a lot. Even I doubt myself now too. But now As I am a adult, I have that kind of maturity that I have to be my own cheerleader because no one gonna be.

But I’ll be honest that I still overthink or doubt myself at late night, but how you handle it now is a big thing because when in the morning, you still carry yourself together and don’t run away from your responsibilities , that will make you a strong person, you are saying that “i can’t do anything”, “maybe I can’t achieve my goal”, but you are still working on that. Maybe that’s what makes you a stronger person..

Some days are simply about showing up doing what i can, and trusting that those small efforts will eventually add up. Looking back after weeks or month, Ican already see changes that once was seemed impossible. That remind me that process is not defined by speed but by small steps or no matter how small it still bring me closer to the person, I hope to become:)

a colleague one told me that we should celebrate small wins. state with me over the years. it is true we focus on big wins but never celebrate the small wins which are equally or more important.
