The person I am Beyond the person you seeðŸ’
Hi everyone....
I am human being to the most of the people I meet.
You look at me,and you see a human being_someone with a face, a name, a body, a voice, and a place in this world.
But sometimes I wonder....
What if I am not the same "creature" to everyone who sees me?
An elephant might look at a human and think, "what are these tiny creatures doing, wandering around this enormous world?"
To an elephant, perhaps we are small, strange beings. To abird, we are something completely different. To a tree, maybe we are simply passing shadows beneath it's branches.
And perhaps humans are the same.
To one person, I might be a friend.
To another, I might be a stranger.
To someone, I might be annoying.
To someone else, I might be comforting.
Someone may see me as strong, while another person may see the parts of me that are quietly struggling.
Yet none of those versions is completely me.
Because a person is never only what others see.
Physically, I am human.
But mentally, I am entire universe.
There are thoughts inside me that I have never spoken allowed.
There are feeling I don't always know how to explain.
There are memories that changed me quietly.
There are dreams that I am still afraid to say out loud.
There are questions inside my mind that may never have perfect answers.
Sometimes I am confidence.
Sometimes I doubt myself.
Sometimes I feel like I understand everything.
And sometimes I don't even understand myself.
There are days when I laugh with everyone while carrying thoughts that nobody knows about. Not because I am retaining, but because human being are complicated enough to hold happiness and sadness at same time.
May maybe that is what makes us different.
Two people can stand in same room, look at the same sky here the same words, and still experience completely different worlds.
The sky is a same.
But the person looking at it is different.
One person might see beauty.
Another person might see loneliness.
Another might see hope.
Another might simply see the sky.
So when I say that I am physically human but mentally and spiritually a completely different creature, I don't mean that I am something better or was done anyone else.
I mean that there is a version of me that exist only inside me.
No one can completely and the that world.
People may know my name, but they may not know my thoughts.
They may know my smile, but not what made me smile.
They may know the person I show to the world, but not the person I meet when I am completely alone with my thoughts.
And perhaps that is true for everyone.
Maybe every human being we pass on the street is carrying an entire universe within them.
A universe of memories,fears,hopes,dreams, questions, mistakes,love,pain,and possibilities.
We look at each other and think,
"That's another human being"
But maybe we should think,
"That's another world"
A world I may never completely understand.
And perhaps I don't need to.
Maybe the beauty of being human is not in completely understanding one another, but in trying to.
To listen.
To wonder.
To accept that someone else's inner world may look completely different from ours.
So yes....
I am human.
But also the thoughts I keep hidden, the dreams I haven't reached, the lessons I am still learning, the memories that shaped me, and the person I am slowly becoming.
My body is only the form the world can see.
My mind is the world I live in.
And my spirit....
Perhaps that is the part of me that even I am still discovering.
Maybe I will spend my whole life trying to understand who I really am.
And maybe that's okay.
Because perhaps life isn't about one final definition of ourselves.
Perhaps life is about discovering, little by little, how many different versions of ourselves were waiting to be found.....,
This is my first thought.
Not a conclusion.
Just a small window into the universe of my mind.ðŸ’
