The last page of the Diary
I found my school π« diary beneath a stack of old textbooks today.Half the pages contained dramatic complaints about homework, friendship problems, and teachers who supposedly hated me i laughed at the seriousness with which I had described a missing geometry box. Then I found an entry about sitting alone during lunch because my best friend had changed sections. The humour disappeared.I remembered how enormous that loneliness had felt. I wanted to tell that younger version of myself that things would become easier, but I couldn't. I could only close the diary gently, grateful that the girl who wrote it had kept going.

Itβs amazing how old diaries let us meet versions of ourselves we almost forgot. We laugh at the little things we once considered disasters, only to realise that some of those feelings were genuinely heavy for us back then. I hope we all learn to be a little kinder to our younger selves, because they were doing their best with what they knew. β€οΈ
