The kind of rich I want to be
I want money. I don't think there is anything noble is pretending otherwise.
I want financial security. I want to be able to pay my bills without panic. And to help my family when they need me and buy things that my parents have sacrificed so that they can eat another meal. Money matters. Anyone who said it doesn't has probably never had to worry about bit having enough if it.
There is a line in a song that goes like Who all said Money can't solve your problem? Must not have enough money to solve them.
But I don't want to measure money only though wealth. I want to be richer in time.
Rich enough to sit with my people who I love without consistently checking them clock. Rich enough to take slow morning occasionly without feeling guilty. Rich enough to have a life that is not entirely consumed by earning money rnkigh to finally Start living.
I want to be rich in people too. Not hundred of people. But real people. Friends whom I can call midnight. People who knows and saw embarassing version of me and stayed anyways. People with whom silence is not uncomfortable and laughter doens't need a reason.
I need to be rich in knowledge. Ti remain curious enough to keep leaning after formal education ends. To understand more about the world and people and science and art and history and the things I still don't know I done know.
And perhaps the most importantly I wasn't to be rich in peace. Not a perfect life. I don't think such life Exists. Just a mind that is not constantly at war with itself.
A home where I feel safe. Conversations that feels honest. The ability to sleep without carrying every problem into bed with me.
I want to be rich in memory that money cannot buy...long conversation and unexpected laughter and journeys taken without perfect planning and meals shared with people who make ordinary evening feel important.
I want to be generous too. Not because people could call me generous but because zi want to reach a point where helping someone doens't make me afraid that I won't have anything left for myself.
So yeah...I was wealth. I wantoney to protect the people I live and give myself choices. Not I dint want to become so focused on becoming financially rich that I accidentally become poor in anything else.
Interesting perspective. The shift from financial wealth to being rich in memories and knowledge made me reflect on my own priorities and what I would truly consider a successful life.
That is the life I would like to buy with money
I am trying my best for this reasons as well! I don’t want my parents to think twice if they need something it hurts my heart whenever they ignore their feelings! I just want to earn that much that I can help everyone in need even a little and specially provide my family whatever they want.
