Suicide by a buddy

Today I heard a sad and devastating news. A long term frined of mine died today. Worse news was that he committed suicide.

My friend, P was a cheerful person. I met P in one of my offices back in 2009. He was a friendly and humours guy. He would always make everyone around him laugh. He would initiate conversations. Gem of a guy.

He was on leave for a few months. Another friend told me that he has some health issues. However, another friend said that he was searching for a job and that is why he had submitted fake documents. I do not know the truth.

His demise was sudden. He is married. He has 2 young children. His wife does not work. It makes me think what was so wrong that he had to take such an extreme step? If he would have told us, we would have tried to help him. But all is gone. Nothing can be done.
