small graces but unexpected places
When you carry a lot of expectations and pressure from yourself and the others you feel you carry the legacy within, your mind becomes a high stake highway of crowded plans, anxiety and strategies.
When I look at myself , I have been so ambitious for the big destinations I wish to reach that I almost forgot to see the daily musings. The present moment generally feels like a hurdle to pass to reach that destination. Today while I was watering few plants kept in the house, it hit me to see that so much life is happening in almost everything I look at. But is there any destiny that they strive for like me ? I guessed -no. These plants don’t rush, they just grow absorbing whatever light they find completely unbothered of deadlines. It reminded me of how easily we take everyday constants for granted until we pause and look at them.
I loved this perspective. It’s easy to spend so much time chasing the future that we forget growth is happening in the present too, often in the quietest ways.
Take your time before you decide what to do next. Do not rush through. Also do not be too hard on yourself
“This felt very honest. I think a lot of us confuse constant movement with progress, and your writing reminded me that slowing down doesn’t mean falling behind.
