This is an uncomfortable question because the moment you ask it someone will say that poor people deserve to have families roo. And they do.Bwinh poor does not make someone else human, less capable of love or morally unworthy of becoming a parent. But love and the right to have children are not the same thing as being ablebro provide for them.

A child does notbwxperience poverty as an economic statistic. They experience it in small, humiliating ways. They experience it when they need school supplies and wait untilbthe end of the month because there is no money yet. When they stop asking for things because they already know the answer. Whenba school trip feels like a luxury

When they pretend they are not hungry because there is not enough food at home. When they wear the same thing repeatedly and become painfully aware that other children notice.

People romanticized struggle when they are not the ones living though it. They say poverty builds character, makes children hardworking , teaches gratitude, and creates resilience. But poverty can also create anxiety thatvbegins far too early. They can hear their whispering about dept through a thin wall. They can watch arguments begin because there isn't enough money . They can grow up believing that every small desire is a burden they should feel Hui for having.

And then there is the pressure that follows them adulthood. For some children getting a job is not simply about inde or finding something they enjoy. There salary is already mentally divided before they earn it .loans, Rent ,Medical express. Younger sibling. Parents who are exhausted from working. The fear of employment becomes heavier when failure does not affect only you.bit can already everyone waiting at home

Wanting a child is understandable. But wanting one does not automatically mean you should ignore whether you can reasonably support one. Children are not motivational tools. They should notbw brought into the worldwith the expectation that they will eventually rescue the family financially. A child deserves more than survival. They deserve food., education, HealthCare, safety, and at least some freedom to imagine a future that is not entirely controlled by financial desperation.

Of course, poverty is not always a choice. People can lose jobs become sick, face disasters, or fall into debt after having children. That is different from knowingly entering parenthood while already being unable to meet basic needs and simply hoping that love will somehow solve the mathematics.

Love matters. But money matters too. That should not be controversial.

Saying poor people should never have children would be cruel and dehumanising. But pretending that poverty does not shape a child's life would also be dishonest.

In my opinion we should have kids only if we know we can provide them a safe home, good living conditions, and a promising future. If we are not capable of providing these basic means, we should not have children.
