Rain through the Metro window
The rain started while I was sitting inside the metro and somehow the wall journey suddenly fell different. I had been doing what I usually do during a Metro ride, looking for my phone, checking message and occasionally looking outside whenever I got bored. I was not expecting anything interesting to happen, So when I noticed the first drop on the window, I paid attention.
At first, it was just a few draft. They slowly started covering the glass and within a few minutes the rain had become heavier. I looked outside and saw people moving quickly, trying to find shelters or opening their umbrella. From inside the Metro, everything looks slightly blurred because of the water on the window.
There was something peaceful about watching the rain while being completely protected from it. I did not have to worry about getting wet, find an umbrella or trying to reach somewhere before the rain become worse. I could simply sit in my seat and was everything happening outside.
The Metro cap moving and the view kept changing. Sometimes I could see Road filled with water and sometime I could see building and trees disappearing behind the rain. The lights outside reflected on wet surface and everything felt a little different from how it normally does.
I noticed that most people inside the Metro was kept visiting with their Phone. Some were talking to each other, somewhere listening to music and some were just sitting quietly. A few people near the window were also watching the rain. I wonder if they were thinking the same thing as me, or they were simply looking outside because there were nothing else to do.
The sound of rain was not very loud inside the metro, but I could still see it clearly through the window.
For some reason, the rain also made me slow down mentally. I stopped checking my phone for awhile and just watch the window. I thought about how often I rushed through ordinary moment without really noticing them. Metro ride is usually just a way to get from one place to another, but this day, I actually enjoyed the journey itself.
As the Metro got closer to my station, the rain was still falling. I knew I would eventually have to get off and deal with it properly. I would probably need an umbrella, walk carefully and try not to get my clothes fat. But for those few minutes inside the mat, I was completely comfortable.
When my station right, stood up and got ready to leave. I took one last look through the window before the doors opened. The rain was still there, covering everything outside.
It was such a simple moment, but I liked it.
Sometimes the best part of journey is not reaching the destination. It is sitting quietly, watching the world passing by and noticing something else, ordinary as rain.
I stepped out, feeling refreshed, carrying the memory of rain, silence, and the gentle rhythm of moving Metro journey.

I totally agree with this ❤️ Small moments matter the most.
It is such a simple pleasure but priceless. Journey in rain is the best.
