Out of the blue in the blue

Monday Blues is a real thing.

But what about the other days?

are tuesday blues or wednesday reds real too?

More often than not, it happens to me that I feel like crying: a pain in my chest an uproar in my eyes and a lupm in my throat. I keep trying to think of why and ywt there is no reason, juat a feeling that cannot be explained in words. It is difficult to even comprehend this on my own yet alone explain it to someone else.

There is no particular reason why or when this happens. I would be in the happiest, moat satisfying of situations when all of a sudden a rush takes over and I feel the need to bang my head against a wall or better yet tear it open to let air into my brain. My chest starts to feel heavy, my breathing hitches and my throat feels dry and full at the same time. I try to bear with myself and hold back the tears that threaten to pour out of my eyes but eventually they are too powerful to stop. They fight their way oit and without wanting to, I sob in the middle of nowhere.

People ask me whats wrong. I have no answers to give to them, because honestly, even i am not in the know with this. For a minute people are sympathetic and then they turn to rage, they get angry over my tears, and with time they call it the need for grabbing attention, a new method to centre spotlight towards myself.

In all honesty, I dont need either, their sympathy or their attention. I dont even know what i need to be able to stop feeling like this. If i had known I would have achieved it stopped by now. I dont like being like this. Nobody does. who in their right mind snjoys being sad gloomy and pathetic. But then again I don’t even know if I am in my right mind.

At time this melancholy takes over so strongly that i cant even lift a finger. I feel it in my bones and my muscles. My mom, at these times, urges me to work with her, cook something but I keep telling her that i don’t have enough energy for it. She leaves me alone with a disappointed look but i think she believes i am making excuses to get out of work.

When you feel an overwhelming, unexplainable sadness, do you

I know this feeling very well. We feel unhappy and scared but we cannot explain why we feel that. People keep asking but it is not something we want to openly discuss.

Writer replied

Yes. sometimes even this discussion is beyond what words are capable of describing.
