My struggle to find a job after school.
Recently, i’ve been feeling very low and emotionally exhausted. After my school has overed i’ve been trying constantly to find a job for my self. Local jobs are something which parents don’t allow and it is difficult to find work from home jobs. I’ve been practising typing on my laptop, i’m trying to learn new skills so that i could get a job but it is not that easy. I wanted a job because it feels awkward asking for money from parents. They have done a lot till now, i don’t want to be a burden on them. I decided to find any online job and earn for myself.
Earning would help me alot. It will make me independent, i can take care of my expenses and also even help my parents.
I would not say that applying for jobs is a very big task. It is both difficult and exciting. Every application teaches me something new. I believe persistence is very important and my efforts will eventually lead to good opportunities.
The most valuable part was that i just not applied in one app i applied at every app or website which i thought would help me to get a job. I felt very hopeful and excited everytime i submitted an application, but it was disappointing when i didn’t recieve any response. I’ve applied on linkdin, indeed and many other websites. It used to get frustrating sometimes but also a hope inside me that i would definitely get a job someday and i will apply for as many jobs as i can do as earning my own income has become very important for me.
There is only one fear about getting online jobs which is scams and fraudulents. As people post fake jobs and play with other’s emotions. They don’t understand how important it can be for a person to get a job.
Me as a young fresher, sometimes breaks down and feels worthless appying for jobs. Scammers hurts more than not getting selected for the job because it breaks all the hopes and dreams of a person.
After i compelted my school, i joined the college and then started learning new skills so that i could get a job and till now i’ve applied over 20 jobs and yes i do get a scam job but it was my luck that i myself did not accepted the work.
Although it has been a difficult process but i believe that i would definitely get a job someday. Applying for jobs taught me a lot and most importantly it helped me to keep patience. It was not easy to get a job as i expected, i have faced many challenges, confusion, moments of disappointment but i’ve also learned to be careful from the internet scams and frauds.
I will improve my skills, learn new skills as much as i can do, i will practise more and will keep trying to apply for jobs. I hope that with continued efforts i will find a genuine opportunity that helps me grow both personally and professionally.
The hesitance to ask for money from parents despite knowing their struggles is another level of pain that I would not want any one to go through that
I know how you feel...Trust me I know EXACTLY how that feels...you are not alone and soon this race would be over.. Chin up dude
I understand your struggle. Do not let the society dictate your life. You can do bigger things in life. Believe in yourself and you are halfway there.
