My mother's Wi - Fi problem

Anonymous5 days agoWrite Freely103 words

Amma called me three times because her internet wasn't working. I explained routers, connections, and network settings with the patience of a university professor until I discovered the router wasn't plugged in. She laughed so hard that I became offended on principle. Later, I overheard her telling my aunt that I could solve any computer problem in the world. I stood outside her room smiling 😁. I knew she exaggerated my abilities, but she believed in me with such complete sincerity that correcting her felt unnecessarily. Perhaps being someone's favourite expert has less to do with knowledge and more to do with love.

That is so true with our parents. My parents to come to me with their phone and internet issues. When I resolve those issues they look at me like I am a wizard. For them it is difficult to cope up with the modern technology.

Haha this is so cute and so relatable! The way you explained like a university professor and the router wasn't even plugged in - Amma's are all the same. And the last part where she proudly tells your aunt you can solve any computer problem is so sweet. Made my day!
