It takes a lot of courage to step into something that genuinely scares you, and I think that’s the biggest takeaway from your story. Whether or not the hackathon went exactly as planned, you still challenged yourself, accepted support from a friend, and proved that growth often begins with showing up despite the fear.

I have also attended my first hackathon last year... thankfully I got an amazing team...even though almoste veryone was on my class I never spoke to them much and we actually become good friends
