My favourite memory from past <3

As we grow up , we make some memories that we never forget . These memories become a part of us and unconsciously they do shape our behaviour.
One of these memories for me was from the time when my Granddad got me kiwis . I know this might sound childish to you or just a naive thing but trust me as a kid it was a luxury i always wanted to try and for some reason i could never ask my parents .
I think all of us kids think that we can get everything and our grandparents will never say us no , that is how the grandparents spoil us right .
So i finally asked my grandpa ( and this was the time he had survived from the first heart attack ) and i was just in the market with my daddy ( my grandpa ) and i said daddy i want to try these kiwis and without a single thought he got me those ( at the time i didnt know they were really expensive or the finances) until i went home and ended ip getting scolded from my mom for making such request . She told me i should be more considerate and that after all the hospital cost my grandpa finances were a little down so i should never make an expensive wish again .
But it is soo nice that our grandparents spoil us to there level best , i have never met my dada dadi . My dada g died when my father was young and my dadi passed away when i was in my second grade so i have never felt there love but something i can explain you well has to be nana nani’s love .
I still remember every time we used to go to our grandparents house , they used to wait for us eagerly . My nani used to call mma again and again on being late and and my nana used to wait outside the street waiting for us and the time we used to come , he would bring yummy treats frok nearby .
I have never felt the same taste anywhere else maybe it was there love which made them taste soo good. And then when we went inside my nani used to make us yummy food . The cozy vibe and the atmosphere in there home is something i really really miss .
Now that they have moved to canada , everytime we go to there house its vacant , i don’t like going there anymore as my grandparents are not here . The vibe and the home is loving only untill my grandparents were here .
I miss them sooo much and i want meet them again soon but one thing for sure is the times good or bad move away but the memories , the memories stay with you like from the time your girl had kiwis for the first time :)
What's more powerful: the memory of a simple treat, or the love that gave it?
Your vote is final.
youre so right about kiwis being a luxury back then haha! I feel like we take this love for granted sometimes, this reminded me to be more thankful to my family!
my favourite memory from past is definitely enjoying life as there’s no tomorrow as a kid you take risks you put all your efforts and strength just to be in the moment and be the best thats what something with time you leave behind.
