My favourite franchise:Harry Potter

There are some stories you watch. And then there are stories you grow up inside. For me, Harry Potter was one of those stories.

I don't really exactly when the magic first real to me. I just remember being completely fascinated by the idea that somewhere hidden behind the ordinary would there could be another one.

A world with moving staircase, talking portraits, secret rooms , enchanted trains, strange creatures, enormous libraries , candles floating above dining tables, and a school where magic wasn't something impossible.

It was simply part of everyday life.vas a child, I didn't watch Harry Potter thinking about symbolism or character development.

I wanted to go to Hogwarts. That was it. I wanted the letter. I wanted to stand at Platform 9 3/4 , I wanted to buy things from Diagon Alley . I wanted to know which house I would belong to.

I wanted a wand Most importantly, I wanted to believe that somewhere, someone might sid tell me that my ordinary life was not the whole story. That feeling of amezenent is difficult to describe now.

As an adult, I know Hogwarts isn't real. I know there isn't a hidden magical society waiting behind a brick wall. I know my childhood acceptance letter is probably never arriving. And yet watching thousebfilms again brings back something I thought adulthood had taken away from me.

Wounder, the strange thing to rewatching Harry Potter now is that the films haven't changed I have The same scenes are there . The same music . The same castle. The same characters.

But I notice different things.

When I was younger. I wanted to be Harry, Now I. Sometimes understand the adults more I notice how tired they look. How much they are carrying. How quickly the children grow up. How the story becames darker as they do.

Maybe that is why the nostalgia feels so strong, Harry Potter isn't only about magic anymore.

It reminds me of the person who watched it for the first time.

The person who could sit completely absorbed in a fictional world without thinking about careers, money, responsibilities, deadlines, or the future. There was something beautiful about believing that the world could still surprise you.

Even now, certain scenes can make me feel like that child again. The music begins . The train appears. The castle comes into view. And for a few seconds.i don't care that I already know what happens.

I just watch, Maybe that is the real magic of the franchise for me. It didn't simply give me a story. It gave my childhood somewhere to live.

Years later the characters have grown older, the actors have grown older, and so have I, But Hogwarts still exists exactly as I remember it. Somewhere in my imagination, the train is still waiting. The candles are still floating. The castle is still lit against the night sky

And I am still that amazed child, quietly woundering whether a letter might arrive tomorrow.

Books really transport us to a different world. I have had similar experience. When I read any book I wish I could visit their universe, live with them, have lunch with the characters, and share lives. As grown ups we know it is not possible, but I still like to think of myself as one of the characters of the story.
