My Camera Roll Knows Me Best

I was scrolling through my phone gallery for a long time, and it made me think deeply how much it actually say about me as a person. My full gallery feels like a very personal diary made with pictures instead of written words. It shows the real and honest story of my life, the truly happy moments, the different stages I have passed through and the people who were important to me at different times. If someone really wants to know the real me, they should carefully look at these old pictures instead of just asking too many questions.

What stands out the most in my gallery are the photos where my smile looks completely genuine and natural. Those picture capture the exact time, when I was really happy from deep inside my heart. They are different from the forced or polite smiles that i sometimes gives in a group picture or for social media posts. In those one pictures, my eyes are shining brightly and my face looks relaxed and full of joy. Those pictures show moments when i was truly enjoying life with people i loved and care for at that time. Scrolling through them still brings back warm feeling even after many years.

I saw so many old picture with my school and college friends. We don’t have much connection with each other anymore because life moved on and path change but in those pictures we are laughing together, pulling silly faces, eating street foods or just sitting and talking for hours. I was genuinely happy with them during those days. Those memories are still safely stored in my gallery. They gently remind me that friendships can be beautiful and meaningful, even if they don’t last forever. My phone gallery also clearly shows all the different stages and version of me over the years. There are photos from my school days when I looked much younger, more careless, and Extrovert. Then comes college trips, late night study session, family function, random selfies, or i click on a pictures from more recent times. Each folder has a different version of me sometime confident and excited, sometime quiet and lost, sometimes proud andsometimes still fighting things out. It feels like watching my own personal growth in fast forward mode. There are also many pictures of small and simple things that makes me happy. A favourite home cooked meal, a beautiful evening sky, a book i finished reading, a quiet corner where I felt peaceful, or even a silly selfie in a new clothes and here comes my favourite, the mirror selfie i always click before going out. The small photos tells a lot about truly brings me joy. Even when no one else is around. My gallery hold both big celebration and these tiny everyday moment that matters to me.

Looking at my photo gallery feels very personal and emotion. It shows the real me, the person who laughed loudly with loved ones, the person who grows and change with time, the person who find real happiness in simple and honest moment and the girl who become introvert from being an extrovert over time. The genuine smile in my old pictures don’t lie or pretend. They clearly show the time when my heart was full, and I was not wasn’t faking anything for anyone. I must say if anyone ever want to understand me deeply and truly, I would simply tell them to look at my old photos. Specially the one where my smile is real, my eyes are happy, and I look completely myself.. Those photo tell my story in a much better and honest way that I can explain with only words.
