Made for me

Have you ever seen something, looking at it felt that it was made specifically for you? The object screams that they had you in mind when they designed it? I had felt it a few times.

A few days ago me and my sister had gone for shopping. She wanted to buy something for Diwali while I had gone only to accompany her. We have been walking through the aisles to find shiny and brightly coloured clothing. All the clothes looked so beautiful that it became difficult to choose between them. Finally my sister selected one article and decided to try it on.

She tried that and it fit her well. It looked amazing on her. She decided to buy it. Both of us went to the cash counter to pay for the article that had been purchased. At the cash counter the cashier told us that they had put up a few amazing pieces on the clearance rack. Before we make the final purchase the cashier asked us to look at the clearance section because the articles kept there were of great quality. We decided to take a look at the clearance section before making the final payment.

As the cashier suggested the clearance section definitely did have an interesting collection. My sister found two more Kurtis from the clearance section which were at a discounted rate. Then we went to the last section where t-shirts had been kept. I was not interested in buying anything because I had already finished my shopping for Diwali. I was only browsing through articles but had nothing to buy in my mind.

My sister had already reached the t-shirt section while I was looking around to escape the shop. She called me to the t-shirt section, "see this one. It is just you. As if they thought about you when they made this t-shirt. Come have a look at it". My sister was so excited looking at that t-shirt that I decided to not spoil her excitement. I went to the t-shirt corner to see it.

When I looked at the t-shirt I realised that my sister was right all along. The t-shirt was in brown colour and definitely I am one of those who likes brown in my wardrobe. The t-shirt was in coffee colour and it said 'Coffee Social Club'. I am a coffee lover and it felt as if it was speaking with me. I love going to various cafes to enjoy the atmosphere though I do not do it frequently. I have connected with a lot of people over our mutual love for coffee. Hence when I saw that t-shirt it felt as if it was made for someone like me who is a coffee lover and has developed social connections based on the love of coffee.

I surrendered myself and decided to buy that t-shirt. Though I had decided not to buy anything I had to break that rule for how relevant that t-shirt was for me. I put that T-shirt in the cart and when we went to pay for the additional purchases I decided to thank the cashier. If the cashier wouldn't have pushhed us to go to the clearance section I would not have found a perfect t-shirt that is suitable for expressing my identity.
