Living in the hills
Sipping coffee on a Sunday morning, looking down at the mountains, and feeling the misty breeze pass across you is non-negotiably the most soothing feeling to be felt. The one day a week when you just unwind and don't think about anything no thoughts, no worries, just lazy mornings and comfortable evenings makes me realise that life is so much that some mere 9-5.
There's something about the silence of a Sunday that no weekday can imitate—no alarms competing with your dreams, no inbox waiting to be opened, just the quiet hum of a world that, for a few hours, isn't asking anything of you. The mountains don't rush, and maybe that's the lesson hiding in plain sight: they've been standing there for centuries, unbothered, letting the mist come and go as it pleases. There's a kind of wisdom in doing nothing on purpose—in letting a cup of coffee go slightly cold because you were too busy watching the clouds shift instead of watching the time. It's easy to forget, in the middle of deadlines and to-do lists, that stillness is productive too. That a slow morning can hold as much meaning as a full calendar. Maybe that's what Sundays are really for—not just rest, but remembering.
This sounds so peaceful just by reading...enjoy your happy weekend
