This is so nicely writte. I cannot relate to this being a teetotaler. But I have heard stories from so many people that they were chasing sobriety and how just one mistake could undo everything. Your post reminded me of their stories.

This one feels like a metaphor for knowingly choosing something that can hurt you because, in the moment, the person or feeling seems worth the risk. The contrast between the warmth of the moment and the pain that follows makes it especially powerful,.it’s really about temptation, vulnerability, and the consequences of ignoring what you already know.

the addiction is real you can not get back to same once you start it but i hope with all the strength in you, you’ll learn to control yourself
