Going With the Flow
Today I remembered a wonderful day. I spent completely without any plans. A few weeks ago. It was a quite Sunday with no fixed schedule. No meetings. No important task and no pressure to go anywhere that unplanned day turned out to be surprisingly nice, peaceful, and refreshing for me. I started the morning very slowly and gently. Instead of rushing out of bed, I made a cup of warm tea and sat near the window for a long time. I simply watch the sky the birds lying in the trees moving in the Breeze, without thinking about what to do next. There was no hurry and no stress. It felt really good to enjoy the tea slowly and mindfully. Later in the morning, I went for a short walk in the nearby park. I did not have any goal like exercising hard or counting steps. I just walk comfortably, looking at green trees and flowers and breathing in the fresh air. When I felt tired, I sat on the bench and quietly watching people passing by some jogging were playing with children or talking to friends. It was peaceful just observing normal life around me without any rush.
In the afternoon, I did some small things that I usually don’t have time for on busy day. I cleared one corner of my room, organise my clothes and read a few pages of a book i had started many days ago. Everything happened naturally, and gently without any pressure. If I felt like resting rested. If I felt like doing a small task, I did it happily.
In the evening, I had a long and nice talk with my mom. She laughed about old funny memories and share what was happening in our life. After that, I watch a couple of light and fun episode on Netflix. I didn’t force myself to productive or Ajeeb anything. The day flow and comfortably on its own.
What I liked most about the day was the completely freedom. There was no expectations from myself or from anyone else. I did not feel guilty for not achieving big things, that one unplanned day taught me that having free time with no plans can be very healing and important.
By the end of the day, I felt refreshing calm and genuinely happy. That simple Sunday without any plans remains one of my favourite recent memories. It reminded me how important it is to keep some unplanned days in life. Life does not always need to be filled with task and schedules. Sometime doing nothing practically is the best and most needed thing. I want to keep a few more unplanned days like this in the future. They bring balance, peace and unexpected joy in a very simple way.
I also realise that happiness does not always come from doing something exciting. Sometime it comes from slow moments , Good communication, and having time to simply enjoy the present. Days like this, remind me to appreciate the little things that are easy to overlook.
This sounds so peaceful
