Five Rupees
My friend owed me ₹5.
Not ₹500.
Not ₹50.
Just ₹5.
I reminded him about it for almost two years.
Every time he saw me, he'd say,
“I haven't forgotten.”
One day he suddenly gave me ₹10.
I said, “I only asked for ₹5.”
He said,
“₹5 is the money I owe you. The other ₹5 is for all the reminders.”
We both laughed.
I still have that ₹10.
Not because it was valuable.
Because somehow, ₹5 became one of our longest-running friendships.

This is such a simple and relatable story that would become an internal joke between you and your friend. Imagine both of you would be old, then your friend shows you the 10 rupee note and both of you burst out laughing. How confusing it would be for the people around you who have no clue about this joke.
Such an amazing story. It is fun to bug friends over small and insignificant things. But these become life long memories.
