“EVERYONE SEES THE RESULTS,NO ONE SEES THE JOURNEY “

AnonymousJul 8, 2026690 words

if you looked at my life from the outside ,you would probably think that everything is going according to the plan .I go to school, apply for opportunities, try to stay productive and keep talking about my goals. It looks organised

But what people dont see is how many times i question myself .

There are days when I feel like everyone around me already know what they’re doing well, I’m still trying to figure out who I Want to become?

One moment I am excited about my future and the next. I’m wondering about that. Am I doing enough?

Am I studying enough? am i building the right skills.?

Will all this effort actually lead somewhere?

At the same time, I’m trying to become healthier ,take better care of myself and create a future, that my younger Self will be proud of , none of it happens overnight. some days I wake up full of energy, convinced that this is the day I will finally become the version of me I have imagined. other days, even getting through the day, feels like achievement.

For the longest time, I believed success happened at one time. I thought one day everything will suddenly make sense , that I’d be confident, disciplined and sure of every decision I made. but growing up has taught me something completely different. success isn’t one movement. It’s made about small choices that you make, that no one notices

It’s choosing to study when you’d rather scroll through your phone, it’s applying to Internship, even when you’re scared that you won’t get selected. it’s going to the gym When progress feels invisible.it’s taking care of yourself even when you don’t feel your best. none of these moments I decided enough to post online yet they are the ones who shape you.

Social media has strange way of making everyone’s life look perfect. Acceptance letters can achievement, big dreams, big vacations, smiling faces. What we don’t see the sleepless nights the rejections ,The self doubts, or moments, when someone questioned were they good enough?

I used to compare my beginning to someone else’s middle. every time I saw someone achieving the thing I wanted, I felt like I’m very behind.

It took me a while to realise that everyone is living a different story. some people find success Early while some find late. Neither journey is wrong.

One thing I have struggled is with being patient with myself. We often celebrate big milestones , but we rarely appreciate the quiet progress happening everyday.Learning something new , becoming a little more confident , recovering from a bday day, or simply refusing to give up- those things deserve recognition too .

Growing up isn’t about having everything figured out.it’s about learning to move forward even when you dont have all the answers . it’s accepting that mistakes are part of becoming the person you’re meant to be . It’s understanding that you’re worth isn’t defined by one exam, one rejection or one bday day .

If i could tell my younger self one thing it would be this, stop rushing your life .you are not supposed to have everything sorted out at this age . It’s okay to change your mind , to start over and to take a little longer than expected..

Life isn’t a race with a finish line .it’s a journey where experience teaches you something valuable.today I still have dreams that feel far away , I still have days where everything feels impossible . I still have days when everything feels questionable .

But i also have hope

And from that hope i have learned that it is enough to keep you moving

If you are reading this and feel like everyone is ahead of you. I want you to remember something I remind myself often. The journey you dont see is usually the one that matters the most .

One day everyone will congratulate you ,admire your achievements and assume it all happened easily. They wont see the mornings you wanted to quit ,the nightz that brought you there..

But you’ll know

And maybe thats enough
