Death on a Short Note

The unexpected guest came to meet me
In the odd hours of my life.
He knocked at the door to greet me,
And gifted me the sorrows of life.
He was homeless,
Seeking a host to become his parasite.
He chose me in a room full of choices,
Slowly talking hold of my body,
Waiting to rule over my life.
He cast a spell upon me,
His voice carried an unfamiliar dread.
He took the decision of my life,
While my paralysed body began to fight.
He stared and smirked at me,
Knowing his intentions were never right.
He fell in love with my sun-tanned, pale body,
Soon, parting me from my kith and kin.
He made me his soulmate,
As I left my body
And joined his soul.
We became one.
My body was no longer paralysed,
And I was finally free
From the sorrows of life.
This feels like a gentle reminder that peace is often found in the simplest moments. The moon, the rain, old songs, and a quiet walk can heal more than we realize. 🌙☕✨
A haunting, deeply emotional poem that portrays sorrow as an unwanted guest. The powerful imagery beautifully captures struggle, acceptance, and the mysterious journey toward freedom and inner peace
This is so poetically written
