An unexpected familiar face

There is different kind of happiness and saying someone you know when you are not expecting them. It is not always have to be someone extremely close to you, sometime Even seeing a family face in a completely random place can make an ordinary day feel a little more interesting.

I was going somewhere normally, when I suddenly noticed someone I knew. For a second, I was not even sure if it was them. I looked again and then we both recognise each other. It was funny because neither of us had expected to see other there.

We started talking for a few minute, mostly about random things. There was no serious conversation or anything important to discuss. We just asked how things were going, talked about where we were headed and laughed about how unexpected the meeting was. It was very short interaction, but somehow it made me feel happy.

There is also something comforting about seeing a familiar person in an unfamiliar place. For a few minutes, the place feels like strange. Even if you are surrounded by people, you do not know, seeing someone familiar gives you a small feeling of connection.

It also made me realise how many people we know, but do not regularly meet. Everyone becomes busy with their own schedule. We have college, work, family, responsibility, plans and so many other things happening at the same time. Sometime months passed without seeing someone even though there is no particular reason for losing touch.

That is probably why these random leading feel so nice. They remind us that some connections are still there even when we are not talking. A small conversation can bring back the comfort of knowing someone from another part of our life. I also love how these moments can completely change your mood. You might be having a normal slide boring day, and then suddenly you see some someone familiar. Even if you only talk for five minute, you walk away feeling a little lighter. Nothing major has happened, but there is suddenly something nice to remember.

Of course, sometime these meetings can be offered to. You see someone you have not spoken to in years. Suddenly forget what you are supposed to say. There is that brief moment of trying to remember their life and wondering what has changed. But even the awkwardness can be funny later.

After we said goodbye, continue with whatever I had been doing. The rest of the day was completely normal, but I kept thinking about that small meeting. It remind me that not every good moment need to be planned.

Some of the nicest part of a day can happen completely by accident. You can leave your home, by expecting that nothing special gonn happen and returned with a small story to remember with a smile on your face. Maybe that is what makes unexpected familiar faces so nice. They appear for a few minutes, an ordinary day feels different and then disappear back into their own lives.
