A Day I Didn't Sign Up For (But Kind Of Enjoyed)
I woke up this morning without any plans. It seems my plans don't count when there's a family function. I got ready, arrived, and smiled at faces I hardly knew. Then, I spent the next hour fighting off boredom. Spoiler: I failed. Everyone could tell that someone had dragged me there against my will.
The highlight of the event was when many people mistook me for my uncle's daughter. They said we looked alike! Cue the laughter, the "oh my god, you could be twins!" comments, while I stood there with an awkward smile. Thanks, genetics.
My sister got out of this whole thing because she had an exam. Lucky her. I picked her up afterwards and expected her to feel stressed or upset — but no. She walked out looking completely unbothered, even though her paper didn't go well. That kind of chill energy? I need to study that.
We went shopping afterwards. Then we caught a movie. By the end of the day, it turned out much better than it had at the start. Came home, hit the bed, and that was that.
Forced family functions, accidental look-alike moments, and a pleasant evening. Solid day, I suppose.
that’s happens to me many times but sometimes using exam as an excuse is the the best thing because it can get out us from many things
