7:30 AM: I got up little late today, because it was Sunday. But I have to hurry because I need to head to my sister's home. We are cerebrating ny nephew's birthday with relatives from my mother's side. My aunt, uncle, cousin, niece, and nephew will be coming. I am excited to meet them.

9:30 AM: My sister called me to tell me to reach her home by 11:30 AM. She needs my help for making the arrangements. I told her that I will be there.

11 AM: Getting ready. It started raining. This is a bad time for rain. All guests are traveling 20+ kilometers. I hope they do not cancel the plan because of the rain.

11:20 AM: I have reached my sister's home. Helping her with plates, cutlery, cleaning, etc. We are almost ready for the guests. I am really excited to meet my relatives. I have not seen my cousins for several months. It will be great to meet him and chat with him.

12 PM: My cousin called to tell that he would not come today. He has fever and wanted to avoid any exposure to others. I got a little upset but I completely understand his position. We have a lot of elderly people in the party and I know how easily they catch infection. It is only sensible to stay away from them.

12:30 PM: Guests are started arriving. My aunt and uncle were the first to arrive. For the first time in years my aunt looked radiant. She looked healthy. When I asked her she told me that her diabetes was within control now after years. I was relieved to know that. It was great to see her getting better.

1 PM: My nephew cut the cake. I distributed cake to everyone. When I ate it, it tasted too bitter like bitter gourd. My nephew said the sane thing. Maybe we got the pieces where the flavours were not blended. Undoubtedly it was the worst cake I had.

1:30 PM: I started serving food. First started with chicken tikka and corn cheese balls. Everyone loved them.

2 PM: Time for the big feast. Chicken biryani, it was delicious. Flavourful biryani with aromatic raita was heavenly. While I was serving the biryani, I saw everyone was in food heaven. The delicious treat was enjoyed by everyone. My sister and I dined after everyone had their food. We were tired but happy to see that everyone enjoyed the meal.

2:30 PM: This is my favourite activity - post lunch talks. I love this at every family gathering. We speak on all topics and every topic. They range from politics, history, finance, spirituality, and everything in between. Everyone participated. We had a healthy discussion. I had a fin time.

5 PM: The party has come to an end. All guests are booking their cabs to leave. I feel that the party should not end but all good things do cone to an end. We say goodbye to all guests.

5:30 PM: I left from my sister's home. I really enjoyed today. Meeting family gives a great boost to the mood. With that elated mood I am ready to face the week.
